Outstanding cabin with beautiful views of the fjord and town below. Well-stocked kitchen, clean beds, and close parking. Supermarket closed on Sundays, so plan accordingly. Hosts provided helpful information.

I absolutely loved my stay at this neat little studio apartment in Kinsarvik. The value for money was excellent, considering the beautiful historical location and the stunning view from the terrace. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing us with valuable information about the area and even giving us updates on road works that could affect our day trips.
The breakfast menu could be improved with a wider selection of options.

We got great value for our money at Huse Gjestegard. The room was comfortable and the location was perfect for exploring the beautiful trails and waterfalls nearby. The staff treated us like family and made sure we had an amazing stay.
Breakfast delights, it would have been even better if breakfast was included.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming farm. the backyard scenery was breathtaking, making our breakfasts and dinners truly delightful. the host was very friendly and showed us some fantastic hiking trails nearby.
Felt safe and secure, no reason to complain.

The rooms at Huse Gjestegard were cozy and well-equipped, making me feel right at home. I loved having a kitchen where I could prepare meals, and the cable flat-screen TV was a nice touch. The comfortable seating area and desk made it easy for me to work and relax.
Personally, I found the soundproofing in the double room to be a bit lacking. However, this is purely my subjective opinion, and others may not be bothered by it.

Our stay at Huse Gjestegard was truly exceptional. The location was absolutely breathtaking and the views were beyond description. The cozy and well-equipped room felt like something out of a fairytale. The warm welcome we received from the hosts made us feel right at home, and they were always there to help with any issue we had. The proximity to the Husedalen hike and Trolltunga made it the perfect base for exploring the area. We couldn't find a single thing to complain about during our stay. we highly recommend Huse Gjestegard for a truly unforgettable experience.

As a senior woman, I appreciated the easy accessibility of the hotel, with well-maintained pathways and handrails, making it convenient for me to navigate around the property.
A minor improvement I would suggest for a better vacation for senior people would be the presence of more staff members to assist with luggage and offer additional support for those who may require assistance. However, the children working there were polite and helpful, but having a few more staff members would have made the overall experience even more enjoyable for seniors.

Quiet and well-isolated cottage with reasonable prices compared to average Norwegian accommodation. Extremely kind and accommodating hosts. Stunning grounds and fjord view. Well-laid out suite with kitchen and private patio. Perfect base for Trolltunga hike with a relaxing atmosphere. Two-story cottage with convenient amenities. Lovely horses and farm-like atmosphere. Good walking trails accessible from the location.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay in the white cabin at Huse Gjestegard. The location is idyllic, with breathtaking views overlooking the fjord. The cabin itself is beautifully renovated and comfortably accommodated our family of four. The hosts, Liv and Leif, were amazing and made us feel right at home. There are some great hikes in the surrounding area, including the 4-waterfalls-walk and the Queen Sonia panoramic trail. The scenery of the Hardangerfjord and nearby villages is truly magnificent. We would love to go back one day!
Would recommend this hotel.

Unbelievable room in a stunning farm with jaw-dropping views. Impeccable cleanliness, and the comfiest bed in Norway. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the terrace is the perfect spot to relax and soak in the breathtaking fjord view. Great location for exploring the area, with Trolltunga hike nearby. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. Only wish we could have stayed longer!
